Wrestle Mania 35 Scorecard

             Here is My WWE Wrestle Mania 35 Scorecard

             Main Show 

             Opening Segment: Hulk Hogan makes an surprise appearance and Paul Heyman demands to get the Universal Championship match moved to the Main Event. 

             Thoughts: It was a surprise to see Hulk Hogan at Wrestle Mania again. I like the opening segment with Alexa Bliss. It was cool to see the past and the present on the same stage. It also led to Paul Heyman marching to the ring saying that his client wasn't happy about not Main Eventing Wrestle Mania and he want his Championship match to start now. 

             Segment Score: 5 

             Seth Rollins squashes Brock Lesnar [C] [WWE Universal Championship] 

             Thoughts: I had no problem with this match starting first because Brock Lesnar is gonna leave for UFC to take on Daniel Cormier in August. Brock Lesnar wasn't showing up on a regular basis anymore so they need to have him drop the belt. Brock Lesnar dominated Seth Rollins before the match and then Seth Rollins beat Brock Lesnar once the match start. The only problem was that Seth Rollins won in 2:30 which is not realistic.  

              Match Score: 3 

              A.J Styles defeated Randy Orton 

              Thoughts: This was a good match between these two. A.J Styles vs Randy Orton delivered like we knew it would. A.J Styles and Randy Orton put on a good match as they went back and forth. 3 matches were better than this one which is why I knock it down a little. This was the 2nd match of the night and it got the show going. 

               Match Score: 4  

               The Usos [C] defeated Aleister Black & Ricochet, Rusev & Shinsuke Nakamura and The Bar [Smackdown Tag Team Championship-Fatal 4 Way] 

                Thoughts: This match was only good because of the Usos and the Bar. Both of these tag teams can make any match look good. I would had been ok with the Usos vs the Bar at Wrestle Mania instead of a Fatal 4 Way match. Aleister Black, Ricochet, Rusev and Shinsuke Nakamura all need to be on their own not in a tag team.  

                 Match Score: 4 

                 Shane McMahon defeated The Miz [Falls Count Anywhere] 

                 Thoughts: This was one of the 2 matches that stole the show. Shane McMahon and the Miz were great in this match. This was the best Miz I ever seen in the ring and he has had good matches in his career. Shane McMahon was at his shady heel best in this match as he attack the Miz's dad and then survive to beat the Miz.  

                  Match Score: 5 

                  The IIconics defeated Bayley & Sasha Banks, Nia Jax & Tamina and Natayla & Beth Phoenix [WWE Women's Tag Team Championship-Fatal 4 Way Match] 

                  Thoughts: This match would had been great if you just had Bayley & Sasha Banks vs Beth Phoenix & Natalya tonight. This match was boring from start to finish as I was not interested in it. The only good thing is the IIconincs won meaning we will hopefully see the end of the Bayley-Sasha Banks tag team.  

                   Match Score: 2 

                   Kofi Kingston defeated Daniel Bryan [C] [WWE Championship] 

                  Thoughts: This was the match of the night. Kofi Kingston and Daniel Bryan put on an instant classic that will be remembered for years at Wrestle Mania. Both stepped up their game at Wrestle Mania tonight. Kofi Kingston has come into his own in the last 3 months and the payoff happened at Wrestle Mania. It was great moment for all of us Wrestling fans.  

                    Match Score: 5 

                    Samoa Joe [C] squashed Rey Mysterio [WWE United States Championship] 

                   Thoughts: Samoa Joe did what he was supposed to do and that's squash a small opponent. Rey Mysterio prime is long gone like Kurt Angle's is. Samoa Joe squashed Rey Mysterio and I had no problem with it.  

                    Match Score: 4 

                    Roman Reigns defeated Drew McIntyre 

                    Thoughts: This match was extremely boring. Drew McIntyre's stock dropped after tonight. They could had built him up by having him dominate Roman Reigns and they lose when Roman Reigns overcomes to win. That didn't happen in this match as Drew McIntyre just wanted Roman Reigns to beat him. Drew McIntyre looked weak in this match. 

                     Match Score: 2 

                     Elias' Concert  

                     Thoughts: I really love this segment. First, we got to hear Elias signing for us tonight as I believe he is a star in the making. Then, we got the throwback John Cena as the Doctor of Thuganomics. That took be back to the Ruthless Aggression Era when we actually liked John Cena. If John Cena had stuck with the Doctor of Thuganomics gimmick for his career I would had been a fan.  

                      Segment Score: 5  

                      Triple H defeated Batista [No Holds Barred] 

                      Thoughts: This match also stole the show tonight. Triple H and Batista put on an instant classic that will be remember at Wrestle Mania for years too. Both guys were animistic in this match. Triple H trying to pull of Batista's fingers and they removed his nose ring. Batista hit Triple H with a chair. I enjoyed this match from start to finish. 

 

                       Match Score: 5 

                       Baron Corbin defeated Kurt Angle 

                       Thoughts: I got up to go to the bathroom and get a drink. I glad I did because I didn't miss much. This was easily the worst match of the night. Kurt Angle can't hang anymore it was clear as day. It also did nothing for Baron Corbin either. 

                        Match Score: 1 

                        Finn Balor squashes Bobby Lashley [C] [WWE Intercontinental Championship] 

                        Thoughts: The WWE has really made Bobby Lashley look weak since he's been back. I bet Bobby Lashley wishes he stayed in MMA. I know Finn Balor is different as the Demon and is a Superstar, but he should not beat Bobby Lashley in 4:05. That is not realistic just like Seth Rollins squashing Brock Lesnar.  

 

                         Match Score: 2 

                         Main Event 

                         Becky Lynch defeated Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair [Winner Takes All for the Raw and Smackdown Women's Championships] 

                         Thoughts: This match delivered and it didn't disappoint. The controversial finish at the end of the match can only mean 2 things. 1. Ronda Rousey is staying past Wrestle Mania. 2. Ronda Rousey will come back in June on Smackdown to challenge Becky Lynch for the Smackdown Women's Championship. The match itself was a good match. Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey carried the match as Becky Lynch looked weak during it. I started to think during the match that the Main Event would had been better of with Ronda Rousey vs Charlotte Flair for the Raw Women's Championship. No one cheered for Becky Lynch when she won outside of the people sitting in the front row holding up The Man signs. Becky Lynch stock has dropped big time and it did again tonight. 

                          Match Score: 4  

                          Wrestle Mania 35 PPV Score: 3.6 

                          Overview: This year's Wrestle Mania was a good ppv, but it could had been the best if not for the 4 below average matches that we didn't care about. I hope next year's Wrestle Mania we started getting better storylines and more one-on-one matches. I said this last year and I'll say it again. The WWE needs to quit trying to get everybody on the card. Everybody doesn't deserve to be on the card at a Wrestle Mania.
