NBA 2019 Draft Winners and Losers

Here is My NBA 2019 Draft Winners and Losers

              Winners

               1. Hawks: They added help for Trae Young in the draft. First, they traded up with the Pelicans to draft De'Andre Hunter with the No.4 pick. He can stretch the floor and play good defense which is something the Hawks struggled with last year. Then, with the No.10 pick they drafted Cam Reddish. He can stretch the floor and play good defense too. The Hawks are a young team on the rise and they are building it through the draft.

              2.  Knicks: They finally got it right with their lottery pick. The Knicks need help in a lot of position as they were the worst team in the NBA last year and they start with R.J Barrett. R.J Barrett was the 2nd best player at Duke and the 3rd best player in the draft. He was overshadowed by Zion Williamson last year. R.J Barrett is gonna need help from the Knicks has he won't be able to carry the team himself.

             3.  Grizzlies: They get an good offensive player in Ja Morant this year with the No.2 pick to go with an good defensive player in Jaren Jackson Jr with the No.4 pick last year. The Grizzlies are rebuilding through the draft with Ja Morant and Jaren Jackson Jr. The rebuilding process will take time and Grizzlies fans will need to be patient.

             4.  Nets: This team is going in the right direction. DeAngelo Russell became a star last year and the Nets added Nickeil Alexander-Walker with the No.17 pick. He is one of the better shooting guard in the draft and the Nets got him with this pick. They can go after Superstars in the off-season in Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson.

              Losers

              1.  Pelicans: They drafted Zion Williamson, but drafted nothing around him. This will be Anthony Davis part 2 where Zion Williamson has to carry the team. He will leave the Pelicans after his contract is up. The Pelicans are one of the worst run franchises in the NBA and they proved it in the draft.

               2.  Lakers: They didn't draft anyone until the 46th pick in the draft in Talen Horton-Tucker in a trade with the Magic. The Lakers added Anthony Davis to team up with LeBron James, but they don't have depth on the team. The Raptors won the NBA title this year because they had draft. The Warriors built a dynasty on a deep roster.

               3.  T-Wolves: They had a need at Shooting Guard, but didn't address until the 2nd-Round. The T-Wolves took Cameron Johnson who is a project instead of Nickeil Alexander-Walker who would had help them this year with Anthony Wiggins and Karl Anthony-Towns on the team.

               4.  Magic: They took Chuma Okeke who won't play this year. The Magic needed a point guard and Ty Jermoe was there with the No.16 pick. Chuma Okeke will be a good player, but won't play this year. I question this pick, but I assumed I know John Hammond knows what he's doing.
