AEW Revolution 2020 Scorecard: Jon Moxley wins the AEW World Championship

Here is My AEW Revolution 2020 Scorecard: Jon Moxley wins the AEW World Championship

           0.5-Worst on the Planet

              1-Terrible

              2-Below Average

              3-Average

              4-Good

              5-Instant Classic

              Main Show

              Jake Hager defeated Dustin Rhodes

Thoughts: This was a good match between these two. Jake Hager showed he still has it and Dustin Rhodes can still go. This was a physical match between these two. It was a good match to start the PPV. The right outcome happened as Jake Hager won this match, but Dustin Rhodes still looked good.

               Match Score: 4

               Darby Allin defeated Sammy Guevara

Thoughts: This was a decent match. I wish it had gone more than 5 minutes. Darby Allin showed he can be a Mid-Carder in AEW. Darby Allin's stock rose after his performance tonight. It was decent because of the physicality between the two. Sammy Guevara took a hit tonight with this loss.

               Match Score: 3

Adam Page and Kenny Omega [C] defeated The Young Bucks [AEW Tag Team Championship]

Thoughts: AEW does great tag team matches. Both of these teams were on their game. This match also told the story of the friction between these two teams. Adam Page looked like he wanted to turn heel at the end of the match despite getting a win. The Young Bucks looked like heels in this match and they got booed in this match. I can see a heel turn by the Young Bucks on Wednesday Night. I enjoyed this tag team match.

               Match Score: 5

Nyler Rose [C] defeated Kris Stalander [AEW Women's Championship]

Thoughts: This was a decent match between these two Women. The Women's Division still needs work, but Nyler Rose can be a dominant Champion and Kris Stalander has potential to be good. The AEW Women's Division needs time to develop. I remember when the NXT Women's Division was in it's early stages. This what it reminds me of.

                Match Score: 3

                MJF defeated Cody

Thoughts: This match had everything. It had good Wrestling and great story-telling. It was a old-school feel to this match. MJF is the best heel in the Wrestling business right now and Cody is more over than anyone in the WWE combined. Both guys gave everything they had in this match. We all saw the heart-break from Cody after he lost this match. It told the story beautifully.

                Match Score: 5

                Pac defeated Orange Cassidy

Thoughts: This was a good match between these two. It was going to be hard to follow MJF-Cody and be before the Main Event Match between Chris Jericho-Jon Moxley. These two did their best to put on a good match. Orange Cassidy put on his best match in AEW against Pac has he took him to the limit. Pac ultimately made Orange Cassidy tap out for the win.

                 Match Score: 4

                 Main Event

Jon Moxley defeated Chris Jericho [C] [AEW World Championship]

Thoughts: This wasn't the best match, but the story-telling in this match was great. Chris Jericho try everything to keep his title including using the inner cycle and even trying to get himself disqualified. Jon Moxley made Chris Jericho think he had an eye injury. He played him for a fool as he had 2 good eyes. Jon Moxley hit the Paradigm Shift for the win. Jon Moxley winning is the right decision. At least, AEW does the right thing unlike the WWE.

                 Match Score: 5

                 AEW Revolution 2020 Scorecard: 4.1

Overview: AEW showed tonight that they do the right thing unlike the WWE. While the WWE is putting their Championships on Goldberg and Brock Lesnar, AEW put their Championship on a young star in Jon Moxley. This was a much needed good PPV from AEW after the crap the WWE gave us the last 2 days. I was more excited for AEW Revolution then I will be for Wrestle Mania. AEW listens to it's fans and it showed tonight. I enjoyed this show. I hope AEW puts their shows out on DVD because I do want to watch them again.
