            Main Show 

            Keith Lee [C] defeated Dominik Dijakovic [NXT North American Championship]

            Thoughts: This was a great match to start the night. Keith Lee and Dominik Dijakovic did things in this match that you don't see Big Men do. Both guys went back and forth throughout. Dominik Dijakovic rose his stock tonight despite the loss. Keith Lee won a hard-fought match, but in My Opinion there were no losers. I enjoyed this match. 

            Match Score: 5 

            Dakota Kai defeated Tegan Nox [Street Fight] 

            Thoughts: This was the best Women's match of the night. The story behind this rivalry is what made this interesting. This was a brutal fight between these two Women. Tegan Nox showed a mean streak in this match. Dakota Kai also showed her mean streak in this match. Raquel Gonzalez showed up and cost Tegan Nox the match. I enjoyed watching this match from start to finish.  

            Match Score: 5 

            Finn Balor defeated Johnny Gargano 

            Thoughts: This dream match lived up to the hype. Finn Balor and Johnny Gargano brought the physicality in this match. Both guys brought their A-games tonight and wanted to be the winner. Finn Balor won the match with the 1916, but Johnny Gargano nearly beat Finn Balor in this match. I enjoyed this one from start to finish. 

 

            Match Score: 5 

            Rhea Ripley [C] defeated Bianca Belair [NXT Women's Championship] 

            Thoughts: I wasn't in this match as much I would normally would be because we all knew Rhea Ripley was going to retain because Charlotte Flair is going to face her. The match was still good because of Rhea Ripley and Bianca Belair. It could had been better though and less predictable. I was hoping for Bianca Belair to win so it would be a Triple Threat Match at Wrestle Mania for the NXT Women's Championship.  

            Match Score: 4 

            The BroserWeights defeated Undisputed Era [C] [NXT Tag Team Championship] 

            Thoughts: The match itself was great as both teams brought it. The beginning of it bring down for me as Matt Riddle repeated over and over again if Bobby Fish could fry Fish how many Fish would he fry. Matt Riddle and Pete Dunne are a great Tag Team and have won the Tag Team titles in just 3 months together. I just want them to stop with the Riddles. 

             Match Score: 4 

             Main Event 

             Adam Cole [C] defeated Tommaso Ciampa [NXT Championship] 

             Thoughts: This was the best match so far this year. Both Adam Cole and Tommaso Ciampa gave it everything they had. Both hit finishers on each other over and over again only for one to kick out. The entire Undisputed Era would come out to even try and help Adam Cole, but Tommaso Ciampa would fight back and hit the Fairy-tale ending only for the referee to be knock out. Johnny Gargano would come out and take the NXT title from Tommaso Ciampa and then hit him with it. It was shocking heel turn that led to Adam Cole retaining his title. 

             Match Score: 5 

             NXT Takeover Portland 2020 Scorecard: 4.6  

             Overview: I enjoyed this PPV from start to finish. I loved the Keith Lee-Dominik Dijakovic, Dakota Kai-Tegan Nox, Finn Balor-Johnny Gargano and Adam Cole-Tommaso Ciampa matches. Even the matches that were good like Rhea Ripley-Bianca Belair and BroserWeights-Undisputed Era I enjoyed. Rhea Ripley vs Charlotte Flair will be good at Wrestle Mania, but I would had loved a Triple Threat Match better. NXT puts on great PPV's all the time and tonight was no different.
