NFL 2020 Draft Night One Winners and Losers: Some GMs are hacks

Here are My NFL 2020 Draft Night One Winners and Losers: Some GMs are hacks

         Winners

         1. All of Us: We got to watch the NFL Draft tonight as it proved an escape from the COVID-19 Virus. This was the first sporting event since the Big East Tournament 1st-Round on March 11. It was nice to be able to watch the NFL Draft and escape from the Virus news even if it's only for 3 nights.

         2.  Ravens: They stood past and took Patrick Queen with the No.28 pick. This is proof that majority of General Managers are hacks. Patrick Queen is the 2nd-best Line-Backer, behind Isiah Simmons in the draft, but yet he was the 4th Line-Backer off the board. The Ravens yet again get a good player despite picking later in the 1st-Round.

         3.  Cardinals: They got the best Line-Backer in the draft in Isiah Simmons. Isiah Simmons will fix their defense which has been awful in the last 2 years. The Giants needed a Line-Backer and passed on him. The Cardinals got a steal with this pick because Isiah Simmons was projected to go in the Top 4.

         4.  Vikings: While this team traded away Stefon Diggs they replaced him with Justin Jefferson with the No.22 pick and then traded back to take Jeff Gladney with the No.31 pick. The Vikings also picked up a 3rd and 4th-Round picks in this deal. Keep an eye on the Vikings to trade up and take Jacob Eason in the beginning of the 2nd-Round because the Bengals have a lot of needs.

         5.  Buccaneers: Tom Brady is jumping for joy with the Buccaneers draft. They took Tristian Wirfs with the No.13 pick. Tom Brady is not mobile anymore so they needed to take an offensive linemen. The Buccaneers are going all-in for this season with Tom Brady on the roster at Quarter-Back.

         6.  Browns: They took the best Offensive Tackle in the draft with the Top 10 pick in Jedrick Wills. He should had been the first one of the board for the Giants if they wanted to go Offensive Tackle. The Browns have fix their offensive line in the off-season with Jack Conklin and now Jedrick Wills.

         Losers

         1.  Giants: It's not the Andrew Thomas pick I have an issue with it's the fact they didn't trade back to take him. Jedrick Wills was the better pick at Offensive Line and they had a need at Line-Backer and passed on Isiah Simmons. David Gettleman struck again with a questionable pick.

         2.  Dolphins: They hit it big with Tua Tagovailoa with the No.5 pick, but then failed to build off of that. At the No.18 pick they took Austin Jackson. Patrick Queen was there for the Dolphins defense at the No.18 pick and passed on him. Then, they took Noah Igbinoghene who they could had gotten in the 2nd-Round.

         3.  Jaguars: Does this team understand you need help on offense? Jordan Love should had been the pick at No.20 because all they had was Gardner Minshew at Quarter-Back. I got no problem with their 1st pick in C.J Henderson at No.9, but they took at risk K'lavon Chalsson when no one was taking Edge Rushers tonight.

         4.  Falcons: This is another team that passed on Patrick Queen and Zach Braun. The Falcons needed a Line-Backer, but instead took A.J Terrell. A.J Terrell could had been available later in the 1st-Round if they wanted to trade back in. The Falcons missed out on a chance to take a Line-Backer.

          5.  Seahawks: This is another team that passed on Patrick Queen. They took Jordyn Brooks with the No.27 pick. That is a reach because he was projected to go in the 2nd or 3rd-Round. The Seahawks for some reason always screw up their 1st-Round picks.

         Not Shocked at all

Packers: I'm not shocked that they traded up for Jordan Love. Aaron Rodgers is 36 years old and has been injured in 2 of the last 3 years. He has also shown decline in the last 3 years. This will light a fire in Aaron Rodgers. The Packers could afford to do this since they have a good roster already.

          Teams to watch tomorrow night

Colts: They have 3 picks tomorrow night in Round 2 and 3. This team needs a Quarter-Back in the future so look for them to take Jacob Eason with their 1st 2nd-Round Pick tomorrow night. Philip Rivers has 2 years left, but at some point the Colts are gonna need a young Quarter-Back to develop.

Bills: They also did good on night one despite not picking. The Bills traded for Stefon Diggs last month for this reason. Brandon Beane knows there are some General Manager that are hacks. There is plenty of talent left for the Bills to draft tomorrow night. The Bills don't have a lot of need, but one of them is Offensive Line and Edge Rusher. There was a run on Offensive Line and Corner tonight.

           Team obviously tanking

Patriots: They traded away their 1st-Round Pick which they could had used on Jordan Love or Jacob Eason. I believe Jacob Eason will go to the Colts tomorrow night. The Patriots will go with Jarrett Stidham at Quarter-Back this year. This team is in the Trevor Lawrence sweepstakes this year.
