                  Pre-Show 

                  Apollo Crews [C] defeated M.V.P [WWE U.S Championship] 

        

                  Thoughts: The fact that the United States Championship is on the pre-show is a joke. The United States Championship should be on the Main Show as a Mid-Card belt. Plus, we've seen Apollo Crews vs M.V.P so many times in different versions of it.

                    Main Show 

                    Bayley [C] defeated Auska [Smackdown Women's Championship] 

 

                    Thoughts: This was a good match to open the show, but I didn't like that it ended in a roll-up. You had two great Female Wrestlers in Bayley and Auska and it ends in a roll-up. Both Women gave it everything they had in there and for it to end in a roll-up was a letdown.  I'm tired of seeing roll-up finishes in Pro Wrestling.

                    Overall Match Score: 3 

                    The Street Profits [C] defeated Angel Garza and Andrade [Raw Tag Team Championship] 

                    Thoughts: I just didn't care about this match because we've this so many times. The Street Profits and Angel Garza & Andrade gave us a good match, but we've all seen this Tag Team Match so many times on Raw. The Tag Team Division is dead in the WWE. 

                    Match Score: 2 

                    Mandy Rose defeated Sonya Deville [Loser Leaves WWE-No Disqualification Match]    

                     Thoughts: This was a good physical match between both Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville. Both ladies beat the crap of each other. Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville have both gotten better this year and their feud was one of the few highlights in during the COVID-19. Sonya Deville losing makes sense considering that she just went through a sick Male Stalker situation and probably needs a break.  

                     Match Score: 4 

                     Seth Rollins defeated Dominik Mysterio [Street Fight] 

                     Thoughts: This match stole the show tonight. Dominik Mysterio was better than I thought he would be. Seth Rollins was on his game tonight. I like the story-telling in this match with Seth Rollins taunting Rey Mysterio and then his wife. Seth Rollins was at his heel best tonight. He took it to Dominik Mysterio, but Dominik Mysterio put up a fight. This was the match that surprised everybody in a good way. 

                     Match Score: 5 

                     Auska defeated Sasha Banks [C] [Raw Women's Championship] 

                     Thoughts: We knew this match was gonna be a classic and it lived up to it. I wish they have gotten more than 11 minutes, but I understand it because it took place between Seth Rollins-Dominik Mysterio and Drew McIntyre-Randy Orton. Auska overcome her injury that she had against Bayley to win this match. Bayley didn't help Sasha win her match like Sasha did earlier in the night.  

                     Match Score: 5 

                     Drew McIntyre [C] defeated Randy Orton [WWE Championship] 

                     Thoughts: This was an instant classic match until the end when Drew McIntyre won with a Backslide. Both Drew McIntyre and Randy Orton gave it everything they had and had a great build going in and the match ended like that. Drew McIntyre and Randy Orton have both been one of the few highlights in the WWE this year and they deserve better than a Backslide finish.

                    Main Event    

                    "The Fiend"Bray Wyatt defeated Braun Strowman [C] [WWE Universal Championship-Falls Count Anywhere Match] 

 

                      Thoughts: This was a good physical match between these two. The build could had been better between the two ending in. The right booking decision was made with the Fiend winning the Universal Championship that he should had never lost in the first. The Fiend won with the Sister Abigail on the exposed ring mat. Roman Reigns made his return and destroyed both The Fiend and Braun Strowman at the end of the match. I hope they keep this Roman Reigns because I like this version of Roman Reigns I saw tonight.

                      WWE Summer Slam 2020 Scorecard: 3.5

                      Overview: This was one of the better WWE PPV's this year and that saying something because that's how bad the WWE has been this year. Seth Rollins and Dominik Mysterio stole the show with their match. Auska and Sasha Banks delivered like I knew he would. We also saw an Bad A$$ Roman Reigns which we all be beginning for in the last 5 years. I wish we didn't see roll-up and backslide finishes all the time in the WWE. I would also like a better build for the rest of the roster ending into these PPV's.
