My NFL 2020 Predictions
Here are My NFL 2020 Predictions
*Wild Card
AFC East
1. Buffalo
2. NY Jets
3. Miami
4. New England
Thoughts on the AFC East: The Bills are the clear favorites to win the AFC East this year. They return most of their starters of last year's teams and they added to it in the off-season. They signed Mario Addison, Quinton Jefferson and A.J Klein in free agency. The Bills traded foe Stefon Diggs, drafted A.J Epensa and Zack Moss in this year's draft. The Jets traded away their best defensive player in Jamal Adams. The Dolphins could had used a pre-season with the new players they brought in. The Patriots are tanking this year. Cam Newton won't make that much of a difference.
AFC North
1. Baltimore
* 2. Pittsburgh
3. Cleveland
4. Cincinnati
Thoughts on the AFC North: The Ravens are the clear favorites to win the AFC North and one of the favorites to make it to the Super Bowl. They added J.K Dobbins to their offense in the draft. The Ravens will be angry this year as they got embarrassed in the AFC Divisional Round last year. The Steelers will be the Wild Card team in this division as they get Big Ben back. Their offense will be a lot better than last year without Big Ben to go with their great defense. Baker Mayfield has to take the next step for the Browns to have a chance. The Bengals will be fun to watch with Joe Burrow as the Quarter-Back, but they still in a rebuild.
AFC South
1. Houston
* 2. Indianapolis
3. Tennessee
4. Jacksonville
Thoughts on the AFC South: The Texans are the favorites to win the AFC South while the Colts will be the Wild Card team out of this division. The Texans did trade away DeAndre Hopkins, but they also traded for Brandin Cooks in the off-season. The Colts signed Philip Rivers to make a run at a Super Bowl for 1 year. The Titans will fall back from last year as I don't buy that Ryan Tannehill will repeat last year. The Jaguars are rebuilding and will be the worst team in the NFL.
AFC West
1. Kansas City
* 2. Denver
3. LA Chargers
4. Las Vegas
Thoughts on the AFC West: The Chiefs are the team to beat as they are the defending Super Bowl Champions. The Broncos will be Wild Card team out of this division and the 3rd Wild Card team overall in the AFC. They added Melvin Gordon in free agency and drafted Jerry Jeudy this year. The Broncos also traded for A.J Bouye in the off-season to add to their defense. The Chargers will be tough as Tyrod Taylor will do enough to keep them in games. The Raiders are a year away from being contenders.
AFC Championship: Ravens over Chiefs
NFC East
1. Philadelphia
2. Dallas
3. NY Giants
4. Washington
Thoughts on the NFC East: The Eagles are favorites to win the division. The Cowboys lost a lot on defense and Dak will be in a lot of shootouts. The Eagles get DeSean Jackson back and they drafted Jalen Reagor this season. The Giants bring in Jason Garrett as their offensive coordinator, but their defense is still awful. They will be in a lot of shootouts. The team formally know as the Redskins are rebuilding.
NFC North
1. Green Bay
2. Minnesota
3. Chicago
4. Detroit
Thoughts on the NFC North: This is the weakest division in football. The Packers are favorites to win this division. They did nothing to address their issues at Wide-Receiver and it will hurt them come the playoffs. The Vikings drafted Justin Jefferson in the draft, but are rebuilding on defense meaning Kirk Cousins will be ask to carry the team. The Bears will continue to be held back by the Quarter-Back position while the Lions will be bad defensively.
NFC South
1. Tampa Bay
* 2. New Orleans
3. Atlanta
4. Carolina
Thoughts on the NFC South: The Buccaneers are Super Bowl contenders with additions of Tom Brady, Rob Gronkswoki, Leonard Fournette, Joe Haeg, Tristan Wirfs and Antoine Winfield Jr in the off-season. The Saints will be right there as they added Malcolm Jenkins to their defense and Emmanuel Sanders to their offense. The Falcons will be contenders for a Wild Card spot. The Panthers are a rebuilding team even with Teddy Bridgewater.
NFC West
1. San Francisco
* 2. Seattle
* 3. LA Rams
4. Arizona
Thoughts on the NFC West: This is the toughest division in football. The 49ers return most of their team that went to the Super Bowl. The Seahawks traded for Jamal Adams to help out their defense. The Rams were 9-7 last year and would had made the playoffs if there was a 14-team format. This team will be competitive again with the 49ers and Seahawks. The Cardinals will be the best last-place team in the NFL. They traded for DeAndre Hopkins and Kyler Murray is entering his 2nd year.
NFC Championship: Buccaneers over 49ers
Super Bowl LV in Tampa, FL: Ravens over Buccaneers
