NFL 2020 Week 15 Preview and Predictions

Here are My NFL 2020 Week 15 Preview and Predictions

            Week 14 Record: 10-6

            Overall Record: 132-75-1

            Lock Pick Record: 13-2

            Upset Pick Record: 6-9

            Thursday Night Football

Los Angeles Chargers [4-9] at Las Vegas Raiders [7-6]

           TV: FOX/NFL Network/Amazon Prime

Time: 8:20 PM ET/7:20 PM CT

          Prediction: Raiders win 34-24

          Saturday Football

Buffalo Bills [10-3] at Denver Broncos [5-8]

          TV: NFL Network

Time: 4:30 PM ET/3:30 PM CT

Thoughts: This could be a letdown game for the Bills as they are coming off of a big win on Sunday Night Football against the Steelers. The Broncos have not been good at home this year as they are just 2-4. The Bills are 2-1 on the West Coast this year. Drew Lock is the key for this game being close and the Broncos. If we get the good Drew Lock then this will be a good game, if we get the bad Drew Lock then this will be a blowout. The Bills offense has been hot in the last 7 games going 6-1 and averaging 29 ppg.

           Prediction: Bills win 34-31

Carolina Panthers [4-9] at Green Bay Packers [10-3]

           TV: NFL Network

Time: 8:15 PM ET/7:15 PM CT

Thoughts: The Panthers have been in every game this year. The Packers have been hot in the last 6 games. They are averaging 31.8 ppg while allowing 22.6 ppg in the last 6 games. The Packers are averaging 31.5 ppg overall this year. They have a lot more to play for than the Panthers do. This will be a mismatch even though the Panthers will keep it competitive.

            Prediction: Packers win 38-17

Marquee Sunday 1:00 PM ET/12:00 PM CT Games

Seattle Seahawks [9-4] at Washington Football Team [6-7]

            TV: FOX

Thoughts: The Washington Football team have won 4 straight games after starting the season 2-7. Ron Rivera should be in contention for Coach of the Year to have a rebuilding team in 1st place in the NFC East. They are averaging 26.7 ppg while allowing just 14.2 ppg during their 4-game winning streak. The Washington Football Team are good defensively allowing 21.1 ppg this season. Their defense will give them a chance, but the Seahawks need this game to keep up with Rams in the NFC West. The Seahawks got back on track against the hapless Jets last week.

           Prediction: Seahawks win 24-21

New England Patriots [6-7] at Miami Dolphins [8-5]

           TV: CBS

Thoughts: This is a must win game for the Dolphins. The Ravens are starting to play well and have an easy schedule the rest of the way. The Dolphins need this game. The Patriots are 23rd in rushing defense and 24th in total offense. The Dolphins are tied for 1st in the NFL in takeaways with 25. They also have allowed just 18.8 ppg this season which is one of the best in the NFL.

         Prediction: Dolphins win 27-10

Other Sunday 1:00 PM ET/12:00 PM CT Games

         Upset Pick of the Week

San Francisco 49ers [5-8] at Dallas Cowboys [4-9]

          TV: CBS

Thoughts: This game means a lot more to the Cowboys than it does for the 49ers. The Cowboys have a slight chance to win the NFC East. The 49ers are behind 3 teams for the Final Wild Card spot and have been dealing with injuries and COVID-19 all season long. The Cowboys are averaging 23.5 ppg with Andy Dalton at Quarter-Back in the last 4 games. The 49ers are struggling at Quarter-Back.

          Upset: Cowboys win 27-24

Chicago Bears [6-7] at Minnesota Vikings [6-7]

          TV: FOX

Thoughts: This is basically a elimination game in Week 15. The Bears got a much need win in a blowout against the Texans. The Vikings lost a tough road game at the Buccaneers last week. Mitch Truisbky has played well since becoming the starter again in Week 12. He has thrown for 776 yards with 7 touchdowns and just 2 interceptions. Kirk Cousins has quietly had a good year throwing 27 touchdowns and just 12 interceptions.

          Prediction: Vikings win 31-28

Tampa Bay Buccaneers [8-5] at Atlanta Falcons [4-9]

          TV: FOX

          Prediction: Buccaneers win 31-10

Detroit Lions [5-8] at Tennessee Titans [9-4]

TV: CBS in Michigan and Tennessee

          Prediction: Titans win 38-17

Houston Texans [4-9] at Indianapolis Colts [9-4]

TV: CBS in Indiana and Houston

          Prediction: Colts win 31-13

Jacksonville Jaguars [1-12] at Baltimore Ravens [8-5]

TV: CBS in Jacksonville and Mid-Atlantic

          Prediction: Ravens win 30-3

Marquee Sunday 4:00 PM ET/3:00 PM CT Games

Kansas City Chiefs [12-1] at New Orleans Saints [10-3]

          TV: CBS

Thoughts: The Saints need a win after losing to a bad Eagles team and losing the 1 seed to the Packers last week. The Chiefs have been in a lot of close game lately. The Chiefs are 7-0 on the road while the Saints are 5-1 at home. The Saints offense is better at home as they averaging 28.6 ppg. Drew Brees could come back in this game and their offense is different with him in the lineup.

           Prediction: Saints win 30-27

Philadelphia Eagles [4-8-1] at Arizona Cardinals [7-6]

TV: FOX in Arizona, Texas and Pennsylvania

Thoughts: This is a must win game for the Cardinals as they barely hang on to the final Wild Card spot. The Eagles got a shocking win against the Saints last week, but I don't see 2 upset wins in a row. Kyler Murray got back on track last week against the Giants. The Eagles are a bad road team as they are just 1-5 on the road this year.

            Prediction: Cardinals win 26-12

            Lock Pick of the Week

New York Jets [0-13] at Los Angeles Rams [9-4]

TV: FOX in Los Angeles and New York City

Thoughts: This will be an easy win for the Rams against the hapless Jets. The Jets look like they are going to finish the season 0-16. The Rams are 8th in the NFL in rushing offense. They also have the allowed the fewest passing yards in the NFL. The Jets will be no threat in this one against the Rams.

             Blowout: Rams win 44-6

             Sunday Night Football

Cleveland Browns [9-4] at New York Giants [5-8]

             TV: NBC

Time: 8:20 PM ET/7:20 PM CT

            Prediction: Browns win 26-10

            Monday Night Football

Pittsburgh Steelers [11-2] at Cincinnati Bengals [2-10-1]

            TV: ESPN

Time: 8:15 PM ET/7:15 PM CT

             Prediction: Steelers win 41-10
