Atlanta Braves Playoff Previews NLDS Game 3: Entire team flops in Philadelphia

  

               This team didn't even show up for Game 3 tonight and they gave up after they got behind 6-1. It was a pathetic performance from start to finish. Way more negatives in this game then positives so this review won't be long. 

                         Positives 

                         Ronald Acuna Jr bats gets going 

                         The only positive in this game is that Ronald Acuna Jr bat got going in this game. He went 2 for 5 in this game and a stolen base. We needed him to get going for our offense to get started in this series. Orlando Arcia did get an rbi hit in this game which will help get him going hopefully in this series. That is the only positive in this game. 

                        Negatives 

                        Team bowed down to the Philly fans and the Phillies

                        Where was the fire in this team? From the mock tomahawk chop from the Phillies fans to the Bryce Harper taunting Orlando Acria. There should had been some fire in this team. The constant strikeouts and lack of care in the at-bats in this team is considering. Our offense has scored just 6 runs in this series while allowing 17 runs.  

                        Michael Harris needs to hit the bench 

                        Michael Harris is 0 for 11 in this series and is clearly not hitting. Why not put both Kevin Pillar and Eddie Rosario? You still get defense in Kevin Pillar and offense in Eddie Rosario. This is not the Regular Season this is the playoffs. We need to quit waiting for Michael Harris to hit and go with some offense in Game 4.   

                         Starting pitching reminds a concern 

                         Starting pitching has now allowed 9 runs in the 1st 3 innings in the last 2 games. We're getting behind big early. We came back from a 4-0 deficit in Game 2, but it's hard to ask the offense to do it again in Game 3. We need Spencer Strider to throw a gem in Game 4 in Philadelphia.  

                        Perspective

                        We need to get starting pitching no matter what happens in this series. We outslugged teams for one year in 2021 and the last 2 postseasons we haven't done that and didn't do that in 2018, 2019 and 2020. Spencer Strider and Max Fried are good, but we need a No.3 starter. We need to go out and sign Jordan Montgomery in the off-season along with re-signing Max Fried. Hopefully, Kyle Wright will be healthy to be in the rotation next year along with Mike Soroka. In the last 2 postseason it is proven we can't outslug the Phillies. Hopefully, the offense will score runs for Spencer Strider tomorrow night and get us a win to give us a chance for a Game 5 in Atlanta.
