Buffalo Bills 2023 Game Reviews Week 11: Bills get back on track by crushing the Jets

I know people are gonna say that it's the Jets, but the Bills looked a lot better as a team. We put 32 points on the Jets who allowed just 19.1 ppg entering today. The most points the Jets defense had allowed was 30 against the Cowboys in Week 2. Quarter-Backs like Patrick Mahomes, Jalen Hurts and Justin Herbet had their worst days against the Jets. Josh Allen is the 2nd Quarter-Back to have a good day against the Jets, the other being Dak Prescott.

                   Positives

Joe Brady kept it simple for Josh Allen

It's safe to say that Ken Dorsey held Josh Allen back. Joe Brady kept it simple for Josh Allen. They called more short passes that resulted in yards after catch. Khali Shakir had a 81-yard catch for a touchdown that was got on the Bills 40-yard line. Ty Johnson had a 28-yard catch for a touchdown. Ty Johnson and James Cook had 6 catches for 76 yards with 2 touchdowns in this game. Ken Dorsey never used the Running-Backs in the passing game. That give you a easy pass completion which in return gives your Quarter-Back confidence.

                  The Running Game was good

We ran the ball 38 times for 130 yards in this game. James Cook 17 carries for 73 yards while Latavius Murray had 10 carries for 35 yards. Josh Allen chipped in 5 carries for 15 yards in this game. If we can run the ball consistently down the stretch it will take pressure off of Josh Allen and we will less turnovers from him. Leonard Fournette should play soon as it will only help the run game.

                     Defense dominated

We got a big lead early which led to our defense dominating in this game. This defense had 6 sacks and forced 4 turnovers in this game. Leonard Floyd impacted the game with 2.5 sacks and was in the backfield all game. Rasul Douglas had 3 turnovers with 1 fumble recovery and 2 interceptions. If the defense can hold the Eagles to at least 24 points our offense should scored 27 next week.

                   Perspective

Our team looked really good for the 1st time since Week 4. We score 32 points against an elite defense in the Jets. It was clear that Ken Dorsey held this offense back. Joe Brady was able to scheme guys open which Ken Dorsey did not do. Josh Allen was efficient in this game. If he can be efficient for the rest of the season we can run the table. The Eagles, Chiefs and Cowboys games won't be easy, but they don't look as challenging as they did last Monday.
