Buffalo Sabres Game Reviews November 25,2023: Sabres embarrassed themselves against the Devils

            The Sabres embarrassed themselves against the Devils tonight. This is another ugly loss this season as we have losses of 5-1 against the Rangers, 5-1 against the Flyers, 5-2 against the Bruins and now 7-2 against the Devils. The Devils came into this game 2-7 in their last 9 games and they smoked us. Can't wait for the Rangers to beat us 17-2 on Monday Night. 

               Positives 

               The Power Play scored 2 goals 

               The only positive in this game is the power play is finally getting going. They score 2 goals tonight and they are starting to look like the power play of last year. Jeff Skinner and Kyle Okpsoso score the power play goals in this game. 

                Negatives 

 

                Lack of Effort 

                There was no effort in this game. We had just 12 shots on goal while the Devils had 27. The Devils could do whatever they wanted in this game and got a bunch of good scoring chances. No excuse not coming ready to play which is becoming a trend. The Devils were 2-7 in their last 9 games and they crushed us. I'm begging Kevyn Adams to do something either fire Don Granto or call out this team.  

                Perspective 

                Kevyn Adams need to do something either fire Don Granto or call out the players on this team because this effort is unacceptable. This team has potential to be good as they beat the Avalanche 4-0 earlier this year, won at the Maple Leafs earlier this month and came back last night against the Penguins. There is no excuse to give this kind of effort against the Devils. The Rangers are gonna beat us 17-2 on Monday Night. I'll be back with a Sabres game review on Saturday December 9th against the Canadiens at home. Hopefully, the Sabres will finally be playing to their potential by then.
