Buffalo Bills 2023 Game Reviews Week 18: Bills win 4th straight AFC East title

        The Bills won their 4th straight division title with a win against the Dolphins on Sunday Night Football. I wish the Bills would make on me and other Bills fans as they looked like crap in the 1st 3 Quarters. This team stepped up when it matter in the 4th Quarter outscoring the Dolphins 14-0 in the 4th Quarter. 

                  Positives 

                  Defense held the Dolphins high-powered offense to 14 points 

                  This defense held the Dolphins to 14 points which is tied for their lowest-point total of the season when they scored just 14 points against the Chiefs in Germany in Week 9. We picked off Tua twice in this game including the game-ending interception by Taylor Rapp. The run defense was great in the 2nd half as the Dolphins couldn't get anything going on the ground. Tua was held to just 173 yards passing and a 62.7 QBR which are both the lowest Tua has had this season.  

                Josh Allen stepped up in a big game 

                Josh Allen had 426 total yards in this game which carried the team. He led this team to a game-winning drive which ended with a touchdown pass to Dawson Knox. Josh Allen had 359 yards passing in this game which was the most since Week 12. He also had 67 yards rushing on 15 carries. This was a Superman performance by Josh Allen in this game as we couldn't run the ball at all in this game. 

                Khalil Shakir stepped up 

                Khalil Shakir has really come on late in the season. He has 24 catches for 363 yards with a touchdown since Joe Brady took over as Offensive Coordinator. Khalil Shakir had 6 catches for 105 yards in this game which as big for us in this game. He had just 25 catches with Ken Dorsey as the Offensive Coordinator. Khalil Shakir is a big part of the offense since Joe Brady took over. 

               Deonte Harty turn the momentum of the game 

              The game was not looking good for us and Deonte Harty turn the game with a 96 yards punt return touchdown. We've been waiting for Deonte Harty to make an impact and he finally did in Week 18 in the biggest game so far this year. We're gonna need Deonte Harty to make a impact in the playoffs as we will face really good defenses.  

               Negatives 

              Josh Allen had 3 turnovers  

              I wish Josh Allen wouldn't turn the ball over. He had 3 turnovers and played hero ball early in the game. This should had been a 35-14 game tonight if we get touchdowns in the red zone early in the game. He needs to clean up the turnovers if we are going to go far in the playoffs because that will cost you. 

                Offensive line struggled 

                The offensive line struggled in this game to block the Miami pass rush. They sacked Josh Allen 3 times in this game. The offensive line is going to have to be better in the playoffs if we are going to go far. We also struggled to run the ball with just 3.6 yards per carry on 36 attempts. Offensive line has got to be better against the Steelers next week in the Wild Card round. 

                   Perspective  

                  We won our 4th straight division title tonight after a 6-6 start. It look impossible back in Week 12 after the loss in the Eagles on the road, but the team came out different after the bye week. We got wins against good teams in the Chiefs, Cowboys and Dolphins during this 5-game winning streak to win the division. This stretch is more impressive then the 4-game streak in 2021 because that year we only beat 1 team with a winning record. During this 5-game winning streak we beat 3 good teams.
