Buffalo Bills Game Reviews Week 5: A Nightmare in London

The storyline in this game is the injuries. Key injuries to Matt Milano and Daquan Jones hurt this defense in this game. They also were without Tre'Davious White and Christian Benford in this game. It didn't help that the refs were apart of this game too. The Bills are 0-2 in London and I'll be happy if we never play there again.

                 Positives

Defense played their hearts out despite the injuries to key players

The Bills defense forced 2 big turnovers in this game and also had 5 sacks despite losing both Matt Milano and Daquan Jones early in the game and also Von Miller being on a pitch count. The held the Jaguars to 11 points through 3 Quarters. A.J Epensea had a breakout game as he had 2 sacks including a strip sack to end the 1st half and 3 pass deflections. '

Offense got going in the 4th Quarter

The Bills offense score 13 points in the 4th Quarter and Josh Allen looked like and M.V.P candidate in the 4th Quarter. Gabe Davis had 100 yards receiving to complaint Stefon Diggs. If Gabe Davis can continue being a No.2 Wide-Receiver and not just touchdown dependent then this offense will be even better.

                  Negatives

Offense took too long to get going

The Bills offense had just 7 points through 3 Quarters. They needed to get going earlier in the game. By time the offense got going we were behind 18-7. The run game couldn't get it going either rushing for only 29 yards in the game. I wish they were get Dalton Kinkid involved more in the game. Why did we draft him if we are not going to use him?

                   Injuries all game long

The Bills had big injuries early in the game with Matt Milano and Daquan Jones early in the game. It got to a point when we had to play 3rd stringers in this game. Taron Johnson and Dion Dawkins ended up playing through injuries. Ed Oliver had to play through injury too. Von Miller was on a pitch count and the Bills didn't want him to get hurt which is why they took him out.

Referees being apart of the game

There were 19 penalties between the 2 teams in the game. That is ridiculous to have that many penalties in a game. Most of these penalties were a joke. Both the Jaguars and Bills dealt with ref ball in this game. The referees should never be apart of the game and I felt they were way too much.

                      Perspective

It's one bad game just like the Jets game in Week 1. Fans shouldn't overreact and say this Bills teams can't win big games because we've seen them win big games. The loss of Matt Milano sunk the game early. We did get Von Miller back in the game and hopefully Christian Benford back next week because Kaiir Elam looked lost covering Calvin Ridley. We got 2 games against really bad teams in the Giants and Patriots in the next 2 weeks so this team should get right.
